Hello, kind people who read my blog. As you may have noticed, I have dropped off the face of the earth, as far as blogging goes, for the past few months. My deepest apologies. I am not dead, I did not lose my fingers in a horrible can-opener accident (although something similar to that did happen to me in fourth grade), and I have not joined a cult and disappeared. Thank you for your concern.
Actually, my wife and I had a baby. So, the blog got put very low on the priority list for the past few months (somewhere below "SLEEP!!!!"). I hope to get back to a more regular posting schedule sometime soon, but we will just have to see how it goes.

Glad to hear you're still alive! Actually I knew about your recent shift into the role of "Dad" and guessed that blog posts would be few and far between.
